Remove Local from the game - everybody can still chat via direct convos or via corp chats or whatever.
Remove Players in space from the Map completely.
Remove Players docked from the Map too.
Remove Jumps during last period from the Map.
Remove the lame gate turrets from 0.1 - 0.4 space - they serve no useful purpose since players can easily camp gates and gank all they want, apparently.
Hey, did CCP actually give any real thought to what the design of EVE was supposed to be or did they just toss in a lot of possibly useless features cuz someone thought they might be useful ?!? LMAO |

Well it's just too bad CCP didn't actually design this game - they had a heat idea for a game and then tossed in some features and then what ? We live play-test it until someone at CCP figures it out and then they remove features or add features... LMAO
Why didn't CCP just design the game from the ground up rather than waste our time letting thousands of players figure things out for them. Other space based games had much better ideas for things like, shields for ships... according to CCP ship shields have NO tactical use whatsoever yet they provide Shield Boosters to quickly recharge shields. Why not just make shield recharge rates comparable to what ya get with a top of the line shield booster but shield recharge is interrupted by damage to shields which means shields don't recharge unless no damage is being absorbed by shields for 2 secs - other space based games have used this technique and it works - shields can still be taken down yet shields will recharge fast enough for tactical use. Instead CCP makes shield recharge rates rediculously slow and then they play around with allowing NPC's to recharge their shields just to see how shield recharge rate affects game-play while at the same time allowing NPC's to have infinite reactor caps. SO then players figure out they can use Armor rechargers to "tank" ships and then what does CCP do ? CCP nerf's armor regenerators. Anyway, I go co on and on forever about this "stuff"... LMAO |

Heck, let's make this game 100% realistic where communcations is concerned... Want to talk to someone, fine, transmit a message via Radio or Subspace or Tachyon or whatever but remove the Chat Channels completely. If someone is close enough to "read" your message then you get to communicate with that player. Any Players who are within range may also "read" the message. None others may "read" the message. Players may open "Secure Communications" which would then become a Convo between players.
The only Players anyone gets to "see" in space are those that appear in the Scanner list either because they happen to be on the same set of visible grids or the ships scanners are able to "detect" the other ships.
Remove all aspects of the current Star Map that show any hint of where players are or have been including where players have lost ships or been killed. This would make space much larger and also make it much more dangerous at the same time.
Local Chat is a joke and never should have been in-game. Is EVE a Chat Room or a space based adventure game ? Today it looks more like a glorified Chat Room than anything else... |
